This is another one of my favorite spots for driving! This bridge used to scare me when I first started driving but now I appreciate it more for how it looks! :) Interestingly enough, I noticed after I took this shot, that if you look very close or zoom in on it, there is actually a boot sitting on top of the bridge at the far end! Someone was brave enough to climb up there and carefully place it there! LOL :)

Maybe the key to solving the mystery of the one legged cowboy awaits you at the top of the bridge SS. This B/W moody photo suggests there are questions to be answered. The lack of color suits the scene. Very good post.

Carefully placed it there huh? : ) I like old iron bridges too. It is a very moody image in the b/w. I like the lines of the bridge contrasting with the winter trees. Wonderful!

I was wondering where those mischievous and devious little boogers had hidden my other boot. A good B/W shot of the old bridge. Thanks for sharing

I want to like this one more, sara, I really, really do.

I feel off balance though when I look at it. You can see more of the gairdrail on the right than on the left, but more of the left girder (anglinf down at the top of the picture)than the right. The end of the bridge looks level, but the foreground does not. Perhaps you were not quite centered on the bridge when you took it. The sky is a bit overexposed.

Ok, now that I've bashed the h*ll out of it...the composition is strong. Very strong. You obviously put a bit of thought into it rather than just pointing the camera and clicking. The focus is sharp and the silhouttes interesting. The depth of field is excellent and leaves me wondering where the road goes. The dark barren trees under the bright sunlight speak of the promise of spring to come.

While I picked it apart, somewhat harshly perhaps, I do see a great deal of improvement from your first posts, and there is awful lot RIGHT about this picture to.

Keep posting Sara, I always look forward to it.

Wonderfull ! - The use of B&W - the clouds - the boot looks to be a raven in my mind.
