This bouquet of flowers at the local Farmer's Market kept saying "Buy Me, Buy Me", but I couldn't because my hands were full with a dried rose wreath, a jar of homemade honey, a sack of peaches and my camera and monopod. I had to make do with a picture! I originally developed this shot as a birthday card for Thelma, who is an absolute joy. She is full of energy, interested in everything (and is up on current events as well as everything going on in her family), and always, always sees the funny side of life. And.....she is celebrating her 91st birthday today!

Sharon, all that blood, sweat, and tears paid off. It looks great and I know it made a great card, because it's very colorful and has a lot of detail to look at, but mostly because you made it particularly for her. There is no better gift. Happy birthday, Thelma! Give Sharon a big hug. Okay, you already did... now give her another one!

Joyous indeed...and bursting with beautiful blossoms! I love your presentation, Sharon! I have seen similar posts with one or two leaves outside of the framing, but this must have taken a lot of time. Excellent work and very creative! Saved + faved.
