To quote from Wikipedia: "Faery folk, or the fae, are an ancient race of people who lived in the British Isles long before the Celts or the Anglo-Saxons arrived. They are believed to have descended from the Tuatha De Danann (the tribe of the goddess Dana), a magickal race who flew into Ireland in ships descending from the clouds..." It is possible a few came over to Virginia with the colonists and settled at Chatham Manor, which was built in 1771. This is the path from the Manor house to the back gate and river. If you climb to the top without stopping you might find a few faeries there to bless you for your effort. How do you know the path? Simply follow the light! Thanks for coming to take a look!

Definite enchanted feeling through the wooded pathway. It looks like at one time it was well traveled. The dappled lighting adds a pleasant compliment to the mood as well.

Beautiful looking photo and i believe a can see my ancestors dancing in the sun light and this as some lovely detail in the path way and nice focus and detail too.To be sure to be sure it a great shot.I also love the light and shade in this photo too.
