Roman Horse statue - BW

I'm still playing with black and white, mostly trying for a specific treatment (which this is not) and, sometimes, liking what I produced along the way (which this is). This is a very heavy (cement, I think) garden statue (head only) of a Roman horse (possibly a copy of a chariot horse)...wearing a jockey's cap (my sense of humor again). The jockey cap is of cloth. I bought it years ago because it reminded me of a chess piece. The original surface is rough and nubby...but through the magic of various Topaz plug-ins (I really should record my wanterings through this piece of software) I stumbled upon a nice, burnished look....which I think gives it the excitement the subject deserves. Thanks for coming to take a look!

I also really like this. As Carol said it has a glass look to it ... perhaps marble.
Nice work!

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Having fun with B&W - good idea. You never know what'll turn out spectacular like this. This is a lovely image - it could be a chess piece.
