Wow, this is absolutely beautiful! The building really comes forward out of the golden sunset and the golden colors are gorgeous! Wonderful job!

It looks awsome. Although the sadows and lights on the castle don't correspond to the sunset's position, it got my attention right off the bat and I'll put it on my desktop background in a heart beat. Great job

The incongruous lighting could be explained by the fact that you put out about 100 KW of floodlights by all the buildings so you could get just the shot you wanted. Have to give you credit for all that work. Seriously, it's a marvelous image, and the lighting is just one fascinating aspect.

I have to agree with the others .... A great image! It really looks like a lot of floodlights on the buildings. I would never have guessed that this was a morning shot! Very well done!

Hey, that's alright Brian. I like that. I don't know anything about dodging and burning but I think I may have to learn if you can do lighting effects like that. The entire composition looks almost natural. Nice work.

great work this.

I have had the pleasure of living in Durham and around the outskirts for a while. Already knowing how beautiful the city can be at times, I was pleased to see this up here. You have created a picture perfect view of the Cathedral.

This wouldn't look out of place on a promtional Post card.

Well Done.

What a sight! I like the way this has a 3D effect. The buildings are magnificant-plus the lighting on them. Nice green foreground that enhances the view. Vibrant colors in the sky.Great manipulations. Also makes a striking desktop :))

A little something? I just don't tolerate with such modesty! You either shoot out of passion or you don't shoot at all!
