This is a Castle ,Bob and I found in North Yorkshire,Im hoping some one will tell me the name of it.I used a sunett from a earlier picture, ans some lighting affects,in Photo Shop,to try and make it look as if it was getting dark.
You sure accomplished what you were after in the editing room Brian. Great manip and I might not have even known, had you not told me. Love the colors and the castle looks great in that light. Very good. Nice to see another post from you Sheddy.
yep mate...It's BOLTON CASTLE...Come on pal..you gotta remember!!..we didn't go in coz is cost too much!!...had a 'P' and went somewhere else!....he he!..
You done a fine piece of work on this Brian!...Just goes to show how much you get done when the internet is knackered eh!!!..
You two find the greatest places. I love what you've done in the post process with this one, Brian, and it's very nice to see a post from you again. Glad to hear you're up on line again!! :)PJ
"Where there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see." ~Dorothea Lange
Nice castle, great pic. The perspective/composition is impressive.
Maybe you over-toyed the picture with Photoshop: it's so perfect it looks like out of this world.
Brian, you outdid yourself on this one. This is excellent and a keeper. Love the sunset background. Am looking forward to meeting you when I get over there...but, I am worried about your neighbor. I hear he bears close watching.

Amazing - Here in the USA they would have torn it down and built a stip mall where it stood.
Do sites like these fall on the tourist roads or are they just left for folks like you to rediscover, photograph, and impress people like me?
