Shot this a while ago in my backyard, I really like the focus of it. It's soft-ness epitomizes fall for me.

And while you are characterizing Fall as you see it, you did so for me also...because Fall (to me) means strong yellows and magentas. (I get all wrapped up on color). The soft focus turns this pic into an unobtrusive desktop, yet I would hope you'd shoot those yellow leaves (with the red stems) again this year in a sharp focus because I'd like to see those serrated edges clearly!
Nice pic, good desktop!

yes good effort. no-one can argue with your artistic interpretation of the softness of fall. I would like to see another shot with increased colour saturation and sharpness, but that's just my personal preference. Happy snapping. thanks for sharing.

Hard work never killed anybody, but why take a chance?

This image works very well in a thumbnail. The colors and the general shapes are very pleasing, but I think you pushed the filter too far, with the result that the edges of the leaves show considerable artifacting. I find that everything has a general limit of about 25%. Beyond that and most effects and enhancements begin to get grainy or as here show artifacting. If the subject is in your backyard, why not go shoot it again, but make the corrections in-camera. A bird would help the image too.

Nice title and very fitting. I like the softness of the image - almost like a collage!

What you get isn't always what you see.
