Those eyes and teeth! She's had it a wee bit rough courtesy of the cast system, but yet her devotion to her religion is what really stands out to me. Nonetheless you've created another great shot! The lighting is superb.

It's a really great pic. But I find it so sad. She has no hope in her religion. She doesn't know that what she is worshiping won't help her. She doesn't know that God loves her.

Yes it does create different feelings. But the idea of no hope is what really struck me. All her worship of the sun is not going to help her in the end. And I feel the need to explain myself. In 1Timothy 2:5, the Bible says, "For there is one God and mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."
God is not the sun. He created the sun, but this woman is worshiping a created thing. A ball of fire. She is devoted to her religion, yes, but devotion doesn't save anyone. Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." and Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death..." Since everyone in the world has done things wrong, the wages, the price, we have to pay is death in Hell. Revelation 21:8, "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idloaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimestone: which is the second death."
But the last half of Romans 6:23 says, "...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." You may have heard of John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not parish but have everlasting life." God loves us, and because He loves us, He came to earth to die a horrible death of Roman crucifixtion. Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He did not stay in the grave though, Luke 24:5-6, "...Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen..." This eternal life is a gift. If some one gives you a gift, what do you have to do to get it? Accept it. Take it. Christ payed the price of death for us. I have a few more verses for you, Romans 10:9-11, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture (the Old Testament of the Bible) saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed." Do you see now why this picture makes me sad? I have hope for eternity.
