You are looking here at the edge of a huge sun dial. This one actually forecasts the crops for the year. This observatory built by Sawai Jai Singh II around 1730 is one of the best preserved in India and is still used today. I hope you like the shot. Comments appreciated.

If you are getting fed up with my comments just IM me and I'll stop, but as so few people are bothering I thought I would. This picture has some interesting lines. Again it needs a little, but not much, more contrast. I would also crop the top down to just below the top of the curved surface which both reduces the sky (even though the sky is a nice contrast to the stones) and makes the picture less obvious. A good perspective on this one and interesting contrasting colours on the stone.

the old ways are the best im sure! amazing they still use this sundial, i think i agree with chris about the cropping and upping the contrast a little too though, im also wondering what it would be like in black and white too. nice shapes in the shot, simple and effective, i like it.
