He was on a window... the blue is the reflection from a cloudless sky. The window was about 10 feet off the ground... so I had to reach for this one and use the zoom. He was nice enough to sit still for a few minutes. Did not realize there was a shadow/reflection until afterwards. I think it worked out though. Not sure if this is a macro or not... so I put it in the insects category. Had to add the black border because ceades will not let me upload the original at 1376X1200....even though that size works fine as a desktop background.

I like the triple reflection, though I think it would be better if the window's blue was cleaned up in some program. :) I also love the mantis

Neat-o!!!!!!!!!!!! I love bugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! { well....most of them} and am fascinated by close up pics of them....{ but NOT cockroaches! hehehe} This guy is cool....and I know getting some shots ya just hafta snap and not worry if there are imperfections...and I find this terrific as is! Good work!
