Thanks to every one who commented on my picture Sun Down you have inspired me to get serious and try and fix some of the errors in this post. This picture was taken on a different night and I had to split the picture into 3 layers in photoshop, the grass was taken from my previous post as it was too grainy to leave in this shot. The sky and the monument are from the same shot but were on seperate layers this allowed me to adjust the monument seperately and get some of the halo effect under control. All comments welcomed, I wont post any more of the Monument (promise).

I am glad I d'loaded the larger size, really shines then. Love the dark skies and the details of the monument. I like the lines created by the slant of the land and clouds. Excellent.

This is a fine job you did pal...the rectified work is well done!....I was here yesterday...stopped off for a coffee at the little cafe at the bottom....took a few shots too!..
