I was playing around with the new Apophysis 2.05beta and that's the result. It was my first try with that version. Changed the name as suggested by Sharon. Comments are welcome as well as critism. Perhaps someone has a name for it. Thanks in advance.

I really like this one. Nice colors, complementing background, interesting "weave". I downloaded it as "Tangled Slinky".

Great first try, I like the weaving effect, that's very cool. Much better than my first post ! You're gradient is beautiful, very autumny & gorgeous. My only problem is your background. To me, that shade of gray is not complimentary to your palette. Don't get me wrong, I love gray backgrounds, but they need the right gradient to pull them off. Have you considered a very pale shade of gray, or even a beige tone ?
All in all though, I like your post & I'm sure we're going to enjoy continued beauties from you in the future !

Superb Apo flame, Jochem! I think the light gray background works well with this image. You could, as Lauren suggested, add a bit more red to the hue to give it a slightly orange or beige tone but I think what you've done here works too. Kudos! Wen

Very provocate image, Jochem! I love your choice in gradient as well. Personally, I like the grey background....a matter of opinion really. It really stands out! I too, have recently downloaded the newest Apo version and really like the new curl variation. Well done!
