This manipulation was inspired by some of the photography of Julie O'Donoghue... located at Though I am a recovering Catholic ;)... I do consider myself spiritual more so than religious. This unfolded in Photoshop tonight... and I personally think it was a message to myself to not lose faith in sight of some struggles I'm facing. I hope you enjoy it.

My dear, You have indeed been given a message because you are a seeker. Hang on to that idea because it will always bring you through. I'm praying along side you for whatever are your concerns because I know that there is a God, I will never shy away from that admission and I know that He listens to what is in our hearts and from the little I know about you, I'd say you are a really fine human being and deserving of His mercy.

Very fine job Smoosh, all of this works well together. As tiny Tim would say(A Christmas Carol) "God bless us everyone"

This is a beautiful piece of art, Smoosh. It speaks so clearly to the faith of religion - the icons and trappings that speak to our eyes. There is just One that speaks to the heart. You have a blessed gift in your art. Look for the light. The color is somber. The shadows dark. The highlights blinding. Very effective. Blessings and goodnight, anne :-)

Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)

Very inspiring work. It is easy to lose faith when life is a struggle. But always remember that what doesn't kill you just makes you stronger.

Lovely image. I really like the simplicity of the colouring which seems to enhance the delicate balance between light and dark and the deceptively simple arrangement of the images. There is a great deal of complexity here and layers of possible meaning. I don't personally like the text on this - in part because it detracts (for me) from the elegance and beauty of the image; in part because I feel in imposes an interpretation on me which feels alien, external. But apart from that, it is wonderful work - thoughtful and thought-provoking.
