This is shot from the steep hill, overlooking a portion of the Rio Grande Valley, and directly above the Contraband Movie site, Some of the buildings have been depicted in other entries in my gallery. The mountainous region, left (South) of the river, is Mexico.

The variety of colors make this a very interesting landscape shot. Seems kind of funny to see water running through a very harsh land such as this. Good job!

I like this. Lots of color and texture. Your frame just adds to the feeling of the entire composition. Well done Doug!!

I feel like I am fading. I've lost the Holy Ground. Maybe there's a chance, that the lost will be found. If you saw a possum on the side of the road, would you too?

Yes...the colors are so stunning and awe-inspiring! I love it! My parents lived in El Paso for a while then moved to Carlsbad NM until just recently so I've spent quite a bit of time in that area. I love all different terrains including the incredible beauty of the desert. I sure wish I had the ability to take such wonderful pictures like this. You have much talent!

Very nice composition and excellent clarity. Just the right amount of foreground and sky and good sun angle. Also, good choice of frame.
