Don't want you to get bored with Hawkeye, so heres another wildflower I came across, the other day. I don't recall ever having seen this one, in the past, but the unusual symetrical formation around it is interesting.

Very unique flower Doug. I like how the leaves seem to spike out form the blossom itself and then the petals are also a bit spikey. Love the bold yellow flower. Very lovely to look at it and something that I will put in my favorites folder on my hard drive so I can run it in mys screensaver slideshow program! Thank you for sharing this with us :~)
