While roaming the bridges of Paris, and banks of the Seine, I came across this Parisian lady, having a nap, in the warm Spring sunshine. I got my picture, and continued on my way, without disturbing her.
I was thinking the same thing Doug ... very sneaky. I can see you tip-toeing quietly away. A fantastic shot ... very nice detail & clarity. Looks like the perfect place for a siesta & in the sun too.
The presence of this lady adds a sense of fragility. The sky, composition and capture are great, altough I find a bit too much of contrast. Great work. :)
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Picture Purrrfect .
A purrrfect world is what we all want, but, seems too unobtainable. If I've viewed and commented on your post, and you liked my remarks then NO THANKS is needed...just getting to see your wonderful work is thanks enough for me!!
Also BIG thanks to all who check out my work!! I appreciate any and all comments & feedback!!
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
How in the world could she be taking a nap around those gorgeous surroundings !?. Oh well, I guess she's accustomed to them isn't she?. This is a terriffic spur of the moment capture Doug. Very well composed.
So what’s this then, a character study or a still life? :-)
It seems a bit dark to me but I applaud you for getting a very interesting photo of this lady. It always amazes me that people like that don’t fall over when they snooze like that.
In the midst of all this stunning and historic architecture, she is the bright spot of humanity. Great eye and luck to come across her. Some of the best shots are happenstance.
YES, I still love you...YES...I am still your friend...YES...I care about your work...*sigh* I have just been incredibly busy and have little time to be on Caedes lately...
I love the slight comedic touch to this picture. Almost like something that you would see on a card in a store, you know! I don't think that the sky or the water could have been more pretty for this picture.
