Doug, Looks like the lady needed a wash and wax on her shell, but she's a beauty nonetheless. My friend Doug might think that this is cropped pretty tight on top, but it looks good to me. Great composition leaving some breathing room on the left. As always 9's and 10's on technical.

You've captured strong yet natural colors. I like the sharp clarity of the focus on the face and shell which are definitely the centers of interest. The generous horizontal length adds an agreeable sense of forward movement to this lady. But be careful photographing swamp dwellers. Breathe in one belch of swamp gas and you'd swear the creatures are talking to you. :-)
