Pulled off a secondary Texas road for a walk with Blue, and found these somewhat weather beaten, bird eaten, Sunflowers. It seemed they were scanning the sky for the sun.

I really like the perspective of them reaching for the sky in search of the sun. That contrast of the sunflowers against the clouded sky is very good. =^..^=Tigs

It doesn't look like the poor sunflowers are going to find the sun anytime soon, Doug. This posting has some real style to it and feels like a watercolor painting. Perfectly cropped and balanced composition.

An interesting photo and composition. I like the washed out look of the sky and the way the sunflowers stand out from the background. I'm mighty tempted to trim the ones on the left out of the shot. Good work.
