Another of a Sunrise at Terlingua, Texas. Though I found no names inscribed anywhere, there was sign of gravesite care and flower containers in some areas, and assume there are relatives still living above the old ghost town, across the road. As desolate as this appears, it was farming country along the Rio Grande of a century ago.

Wonderful side lighting highlights just the right stuff. Nice composition. I like the diagonal formed by the large grave and the crosses above it.

So what's the deal, Doug? All I see are crosses. Were there no dead Jewish cowboys?

I can see you did some post-photo work on this one. It adds a feel of mystery and fantasy to the image. I agree with the above comments about the diagonal and the side lighting, and you didn't have to clone out your shadow on this one. Wonderful colors and composition.

I have looked at this several times and it's just haunting, I can't take my eyes off it, taking in all the little details it has. Nice One Doug!!!
