If you follow the ripples back to their source, you'll find my buddy, Blue, has just been quenching his thirst. This is our front yard, on the North branch of Buck Lake, though it's covered with ice this time of year.

One of my favorite captures are that of reflections in water. Love the rippled patterns & 'Blue' adds alot to the image. I like how the silhouetted tree frames the image too. Wonderful capture, Doug.

Quite frankly, Doug, I'm getting very tired of looking at nearly perfect photos by you. It's very difficult for me to come up with a decent critique when everything looks just right. Mind you, I just got back from San Diego and am not in a very good mood; but you need to give me something to work with.
Love the shot. Blue looks happy as can be, and why wouldn't he be. My dog's water bowl is less than half that size. Wonderful colors, flawless composition, sharp and well focused with no noise and no motion blur. A solid 9 out of 10 as usual.
