If you take a Left turn in Tucson, and another Left when you hit the Mexican border, there's an interesting way back to civilization. Just bring food and drink for a month or so.
I wouldn't mind 'roughing it' there for a couple of days. Love the various textures created by the desert & mountains. I noticed the blue tones of the mountains too. Superbly captured, Doug.
Doug, I really like the way the road undulates through the landscape. It gives the impression that this lonely road goes on forever and then ends at a large tree full of hungry vultures for the unsuspecting visitor who didn't see the "Dead End" sign or the one that said "Next Services 4000 Miles".
Excellent composition, great colors and textures and the layering of the foreground to the various background layers really draws the eye along the road into the distance with some foreboding.
Doug, You did a great job on the postwork for this image, and I imagine that is pretty much the way it looks eons ago, except maybe for the road, love it. Tigs♥ =^..^=
