Wow...seems like quite a deal, Doug. You have all of that great firewood and the property is nicely fenced. Hopefully the rent comes with an occasional visit from the landscaping company to keep that pristine lawn looking like a putting green. I think you might be able to make it up and down the ladder, but I'm not sure Blue is going to care for the down version at the very least.
Really neat looking sky. The full sized image is a little small; so I'm not sure if that siding is made of stained wood or just simple rust. Love those colors, and the foreground paraphernalia adds some real depth to this shot. Man would I love to have a looksee inside there. That's where the treasures are hidden.
Great detour. I think I'd try that one more often.
Looks like you've got yourself a nice little fixer-upper there. I like the way the jumbled old logs & fence lead up to & enhance to the run down look of the scene. The Tamarack? in the right foreground softens & provides a nice transition into the scene. ...Ed
A loft as an apartment ... now that's an idea. I'm not too particularly fond of ladders though. Wonderful composition, colors, & detail. Very well captured, Doug.
Good find Doug. I suspect there was too much debris in the foreground that needed hauled to the ditch. I imagine Mr. & Mrs. Raccoon and the kids have already moved in. Wonderful colors and edit.
I love old barns, now would I climb up that ladder? That's debatable. Keep taking these quality photos of these old rural barns. They will be a thing of the past, soon.
