This valley in the Southeast of the park is much like a community, sitting at the foot of an ancient mountain mountain range, worn away over millions of years.

This is beautiful work, Doug.
Your B&W's have a feel to them that puts us right in the scene.
I love how the road picks up again on the bend and the mountains in the background are breathtaking. Nicely done.

I really Envy your Opportunity to Shoot the Desert in B&W, Doug! I was Just starting to Teach myself, While I lived there... To bad the Digital Age hadn't come Along by then! I like all the Depths and Textures, Keep them Coming!!

This would seem to be a fine upstanding community on the face of it. But I'm sure there are some deeply buried secrets in there someplace. A good b/w presentation of the scene, Doug. Nice depth and perspective in the shot.
