This is the same duck from a few days ago, and just a fraction of a second before he turned and confronted me.

This is such a good action shot Doug, and would be perfect for the current motion contest on Caedes. I really like the water ripples as well. That water looks so clear, very nice post.

Looks like Tigs beat me to the punch. I was thinking the same thing about the contest. This shot is fabulous. Love the tiny bit of added exposure time for those blurred wings. The colors are beautiful, both on the bird and the ripples in the water. By the way, your titles have been pretty ingenious.

I tend to learn from my mistakes although that's not always the case because I would be the most learned man in the universe if it were true. Right above and below his feet are some tightly grouped white pixel chunks. Any idea what caused that in your shot?

I love the abstract look to the water ripples and the great detail in his head.

I agree this would make an excellent entry for the contest, Doug. I love the colors and the lighting.
He appears to be getting ready for fight mode!

You people do realize that he is a she unless this is a rooster in a duck costume.

Good capture of the lighting in this shot. I like the rippled pattern in the water. Nice work Doug.
