Back to the 1950's, and just another alleyway, though this one was in Windsor, and unusually clean. The older parts of the city still had the original brick surfaces in the alleys, though the streets were all paved.

I wasn't sure what to expect from that foreboding title, Doug. I almost expected to see hell fire and brimstone. A storm sewer manhole is much more pleasing to the eye in comparison.

Love the textures which the B/W enhances. The composition feels just right. Thank you again for my personalized trip in your time machine. H.G. Wells would be proud.

P.S. I thought I had a winner in this week's B/W contest until I saw this.
