This Black Snake is a great swimmer, and he caught this Catfish right in front of me and immediately brought it up on land. He had captured it by the tail and needed to turn it around to swallow it head-first. It took about a half hour for him to finally get the fish in perfect position as you see here, and slowly swallowed both the fish and dead Pine needles.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

The pine needles too - a little salad must be there Doug. You were lucky to be there to catch this unusual nature scene. Bravo!

What an interesting nature shot Doug! This is exactly why I don't like snakes. Your patience wile the snake made the turnaround, paid off.

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.

The pine needles provide excellent roughage for the fish meal. Nice details and textures in the photo, Doug.
