I never did get the horses name but my dad let me remove this image from a large oval frame to make some copies. This is my grandfather, born in England, and just on his way to the last of the Boer Wars in the late 1800's. Following his stint in Africa he emigrated to Canada with his Irish wife at the turn of the century, raised a large family, lived a long life in Windsor, Ontario, Canada where he died at 83 years.
