Another image of the Rio Grande river in South Texas between Presidio and Terrlingua. I may have mistaken the spelling of the names of the towns.

I like this scene, Doug. It looks much better without a wall in the scene - I hope it stays this way.

I went into Mexico in this general area , Del Rio. Looks like spring with the river so high.

I imagined this river to be like the Mississippi when I was a child Doug. Western movies have made this River immortal. I think the Dukes blood, sweat and tears kept it flowing for many years.

As Tick mentioned, the classic western movies come to mind when viewing your photo, Doug. I imagined it to be much wider. Well done in the BW.
