It's either "leaves of three, let it be" or "you're gonna need an ocean of calamine lotion!" As a Cape Codder I've learned to spot poison ivy at 60 paces because it loves to grow here... but it turns such a brilliant shade of scarlet in the fall I've always felt it was too bad it can't be touched... :-)))

Just beautiful, Mary. And I've already had the chance to get it in the voting booth where I gave it the good solid ten that it deserves. The leaves may be poisonous, but they're certainly very enticing :)

Oh my gosh! The horror, the horror. Aside from the utter feat and loathing which the subject matter inspires, I will agree that red is better than anything Revlon or Ferrari ever cooked up.
The green which surrounds it makes for a stunning image. Also, I notice the light has changed...that thin New England autumnal light has arrived.
