the sky was so utterly unreal today, I was finally able to capture the right 'mood' in this composition... sometimes it takes weeks to actually get what my mind's-eye sees... so, if you want to come to cape cod for a visit you can get a room in one of these inns, and have your own private beach on nantucket sound... I'll meetcha on the public side!

Wonderful sky is right! The colors are always more intense when it is overcast I think. This is a great shot, but I can't afford any of those inns I'm afraid.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Great composition Mary...especially with fence leading the eye...you are right...every scene has a different perspaective according to light...this one does convey mood with that sky...gerry

Hey Mary,
I like those repeating lines, they set a certain mood, also the dramatic sky, those special clouds, really amazing, (~8
Nicely done,

Wow.....this looks too good to be true. The colours are unreal. At first glance it almost looks like a CGI image. Well done.

Very nice. I Love the fence stretching into the distance, and the clouds in the sky. A very inviting shot.

Your sky is a perfect foil for the inviting inns and the sugar sand. The reflections off the windows in the big inn at the back are nice, and perhaps a bit of adjustment to the left will set that back on its foundation!!! Or maybe it's just the way the land slopes, 'cause the fence certainly looks level?????

Blotting paper sky! Almost as blue and rich as a hydrgangea petal. The houses, beach fence seem to be unaware of the royal presence of those clouds.
