I took the picture on a small bridge spanning mill creek, which connects to cape cod bay directly inbetween the townships of barnstable and yarmouth... the boathouse is on the yarmouth(port) side... the tide was high and still coming in...

Sky and water, you can't go wrong when they're both outstanding. Like the red and green tree for more coloring. The door color seems odd. Very good photo Mary.

I wonder how they get their car into th garage? Nice picture. I like how you captured both the river and the boathouse in the same image.

If the tide is still rising I can see why they have it propped up on blocks, but it must be inconvenient to have to wait for high tide to store your boat!!

Great sky work in this one. Beautiful.

A beautiful image Mary. I adore the colours in this one and the 'stillness' of it. I am putting it in my faves. I also think that this will make a wonderful desktop. Well done.

Color and composition is very well done in this shot and very sharp too. I still don't understand the boat house though. If the water isn't high enough what stops the boat from just sinking to the shore a foot under the boat house? Is there a floor in the boat house? Rhetorical.
