okay, so I wasn't the only person who left footprints in the sand at coast guard beach that day... there were two others... the young woman looking seaward in the distance, and her boyfriend, who was actually out in the water attempting to surf the waves... he had a full wetsuit on when he went in, but, hey, seeking the perfect wave in a gale in december off a deserted beach might be called tempting fate... call me timid but I'd rather go home and have some hot chocolate to warm up...;-)))

Great photo and I'm with PJ. Hot chocolate sounds good. I would say guy is crazy in water and fisherman will catch him in seine.

The sea was lovely that day..albeit a tad chilly, but I was there when the chap re-surfaced with a huge fish!!!...I enjoyed a 'fish snack' while you enjoyed your chocky drink! ..
