Great scene and I love the hooded sweated shirt with E Z Doze It Excavating, Inc. Good slogan. You're right about the dog. He's done the wave enough. I can almost hear the waves which is almost as relaxing as seeing them. Great post HF

For a classic "Boy and His Dog" image (I'm assuming the black hooded sweatshirt was a boy) I think I'd have moved to the left a little to crop out the older couple and the surfer and hide the surfboard in front of the rock. Then later, in Photoshop, removed the white printing on his/her back and adjusted the shadows and highlights to bring a little more of the dog's face out. Just the two of them and the surf.
