the old manse, on main street (rte. 6A), brewster, on cape cod, massachusetts, was built in 1801 and was a home to several sea captains throughout the post-colonial and clipper ship era... it's now a bed and breakfast inn complete with period furnishings and antiques... staying in a place like this is like slipping back into another time, only with all the amenities of the 21st century...

That is a beautiful picture, with the different color of trees. I would love to go through that house. Excellent composition, Mary.

Great photo and story. The first thing I though about was the movie The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. Love the shrubbery around the mansion. What a gorgeous tree that is in front. Excellen HF.
