The reflective qualities of the Dingy and Sky make this One seem like something from a Dream.
Excellent Mary !

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

Yes Mary, it doesn't seem to be floating on the water at all. this is a very meta-physical boat and image.

Wow, this is some shot HF. It does look like there is space between it and the water. I have heard of a ghost ship but never a ghost dinghy. Now I am nervous. Excellent shot.

Strange..when I saw this in the VB I thought maybe it was a fractal!! It is so perfect. I haven't seen water that still in years! What awesome colours and well, of course the reflection is just magnificent. It looks as tho it is sitting still on a mirror. Just fantastic Mary!! VErena

Yes indeed, that boat hasn't made up its mind concerning the reality to which it belongs. There is something suspenseful about this image. Great work.

As usual with your photography, very good composition and excellent colour. Unlike other works of yours, there seems to be a bit of grain which I feel is impeding the smooth and crisp details. However will not stop me from voting this well should I get it in the VB or putting in my save file to savour futher. Nicely done and thanks.

I'm gathering a sense of peace & quiet ... perhaps stillness. The lone boat, super smooth water, & reflections all work together to make this an outstanding capture. Straight to my faves it goes.

I would have preferred the boat slightly higher in the frame, but I have a reason for this. Turn the picture upside down and it gets more surreal and more in tune with the title.
