from the top of a sand dune in the province lands, north truro, massachusetts... cape cod walks a thin line between its wild natural state and encroaching development which I think, this image illustrates... the dunes are part of the national seashore and supposedly safe from further development, but you can see the developed strip of land in the distance, and lately there has been controversy about wealthy owners of land on the outer cape wanting to enlarge their existing, usually second, homes into trophy mansions... we are in danger of losing national seashore land to wealth and greed...
