at long pond on the harwich/brewster line (the left side is harwich and the right is brewster)... the sun, which had been covered by a large cloud, suddenly broke free and showered the water with pure gold... (cape cod, massachusetts)

Cape Cod's answer to the Mason-Dixon Line. Beautiful HF. The sun has created a magnificent scene and you have captured it perfectly. The bird makes a great addition. Another dandy.

I'll meet you at the edge of the sunlight, just behind the shadows. Anyone who does not like clouds, does not like to dream. The Ghost

I like the flecks of gold in the foreground as well as the bird which lift this picture up. The composition with the tress left and the woods right both frame and break up the sunset. Excellent shot. Faves.

The trees on the left and the solitary bird on the right give you excellent depth to this excellent sunset. I, too, like the sun's effects in the sky and on the water. And, you captured everything, so very well.

I swear you just sit around Cape Cod and wait until something spectacular happens. Perfect shot, Mary, and it's definitely got a place on my hard drive!

Oh Mary, this photo of yours just totally portrays peace in all sorts of ways! The flaming gold colour, the tall trees standing so very proudly overlooking the ripples of the sea and of course the solo bird soaring quietly over the whole scene. It is just pure loveliness that you've brought us...hugs..Verena
