I posted a color version of this a while back but I think I like it better in B&W... (south orleans, cape cod, massachusetts)

Very nice tones. Foreground is a little dark for me but the overall effect is very good and works well in B&W.

Peaceful black and white photo: the stillness of the boats and the quietness of the water make this very kewl.

The B&W really suites this one well Mary. The lighting is perfect. I really like the boats on the calm water.

It is nice HF, but I think I prefer Peaceful. It used the light to enhance it much better. The light on the grasses was stupendous. Not that this is not good.

Certainly not a good day for a sail, but a fantastic shot! I do like it in B & W, but can't decide which I like the best, so kept both. I don't know how I missed the other one in colour, but it's nice to have them both.

Yes, in b & w the stillness of the scene is louder, if that is the word for which I am looking.
