seagulls like to amass or bed down for the night in flocks but if anyone should venture too close a nasty bite is usually the reward... I therefore deduced that this pair must be an 'item', as they say... they're actually in physical contact and it is that time of year...

Since I live at the West Coast, I too see a lot of gulls, and at times I get real tired of their noise and the way they push each other around to get to the food first, but once in a while they are pretty to look at. YOUR photo here is wonderfully done.
