I love lighthouses and this is a very nice photo which captures the grim day you describe very well. It does seem to be very slightly tilted--maybe it's just me. Anyway, good job!

Great job of capturing this historic lighthouse. I think everyone loves them (lighthouses).

This is my favorite lightouse because I was fortunate to grow up on the Gurnet as a kid and almost was stationed there when I was in the Coast Guard, but turned it down. It was too close to home. My parents property abbutted the C.G. property. We had a great time as kids with knowing the C.G. personal there. i am looking for any old pictures of the Gurnet for a group called Project Gurnet and Bug Lights to show all who come out to the Gurnet to see it.
