From Tampa Bay's Busch Gardens. These flowers were just in a planter as we browsed around today. Not sure what they are.

Hum.......don't think I have ever seen this one before. Interesting that it pops from a closed red bud into a yellow flower. Amazing and well captured.

Gee Charlie, do wish I new what these were. I agree with Pat, don't know of a flow that goes from a red bud to yellow flower. Interesting capture and thanks for sharing. Beautiful and vivid.

Hi Charlie,
Just browsing the many lovely pictures in your gallery and noticed that no one ever got around to mentioning the name of this. It is a variety of "asclepias". A common name for it in this part of the country is "Butterfly Weed" because it does attract them in the summer. This is an excellent closeup of a beautiful flower.
