You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Excellent capture! How on earth you got one of these zippy little critters to hold still long enough to capture it in such fine detail is beyond me. Even when I caught these on a regular basis as a kid I couldn't get them to hold still long enough to get a decent photo.
Very nice, sharp and clear image, Charlie!
but I agree with hdwillems it's a bit pity
you can't see his complete tail!
Are they very quick?
Regards!

Good for you! I am always trying to get pictures of these guys - they are all over the place on my back porch - very hard to do. By the time I have them in the right focus they are gone! I especially like how you got this one in green!

Like a timelaps straight from the stoneage.. amazing...
We only find such creatures here in the zoo, or animal/pet stores..
The closest thing we have overhere to this is a frog. I have nothing against frogs, but still... you know what i mean.
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.
