African penguins at the beach in the new exhibit that opened at Lowry Park Zoo, Tampa Bay. They are used to the heat here and spend more time on the beach than in the water. They have also been called Jackass penguins because of the braying sound they make.

Ah, they are just too cute! I bet they are funny when they are braying. Penquins are one of my favorite animals. Great post, Charlie. He does look a little befuddled!
