My daughter and I headed out for a walk and this great egret was patrolling the street.

Hey that’s different Charlie. I hope he looked left and right. If it were mine I’d probably trim a little of the top off. I like the story it tells and the bird’s purposeful stride. Oh and I love the title.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

I too like the title. I wondered what the heck I was getting myself into, but since it was your upload, I was pretty sure it would be good, and you didn't disappoint. Composition is great!

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon

A little out of his element, no? Do you suppose he looked both ways first? Great quick capture, Charlie.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

A great shot of a Egret Charlie which could have been cropped to widescreen easily.
They are such elegant distinguished birds
Nice one

Life's around said Phil the 35 millimetre cameraman. I recently went to the doctors, and said I've got icon fever, but he told me there was no cure for the disease.
