I wish I knew the name for the flower. I was playing with the macro setting on my camera, and this was the result.

Well, it's a legume of some kind (they all have the same basic flower shape) After that it looks a bit like lupine, but isn't. Anycase, looks like your macro is working well. Cheers.

Very nice. The color, light and shadows are wonderful. Making the focal point a little deeper would have gotten the buds near the stem in focus. Depth of field tends to be very shallow in macro shots. Very nice as is.:)
