An interesting shot John. When shooting an image like this it may be more effective if you would try to isolate the one Utility Pole and discard the distraction of the other one.
I would also try using a polarizing filter to darken and saturate the blue of the sky. That way the subjects stand out and are separated from the background.
I do like the subject and the imagination that created the image. Keep in there.

In stead of shooting birds and animals and friends on hunting trips, let's shoot some pictures instead :-)
