I like this even though it is not the sort of image I personally would choose for a desktop. It is wonderfully simple and yet suggests a wealth of stories. It is restful, in a way, and a bit sad, but there's a sense in which the skull is still contributing and that mitigates the sadness, I think.
I have an itch to see more of the horn on the right, but that may be just me and I don't know what restrictions you were working under, in any case. It also looks a bit blurry in parts but this could be my monitor and/or my eyes. Lots of things look blurry to me right now as I really need to see an optician urgently!
Shades of Georgia O'Keefe. I noticed the shadow right off, kind of gives the photo an eery look. The B&W is a perfect medium for a subject like this. I like!
