In my humble opinion this scene would benefit from less foreground .. keep the wall with the birds .. the buildings on the sides provide good framing and interest
Hi Derek - You have a nice sharp capture of this little bay but I think that there is just too much in the shot. There are too many boats to make the water a focal point and the sides of the harbor are not bringing alot to the table. It might be interesting to get a shot on a very calm day with very few boats in the harbor. You face west so you should be able to get a nice sunset in the background on the right day.. You might also find an elevation or angle that would allow the sides (or one side) of the harbor to give the viewer a sense of depth and shape to the bay. I found the most interesting view in your shot was the foreground showing the bay just ends in some weeds and a small pile of rocks. Thanks for sharing this shot, I will try and get there the next time I am in your part of the world.
