Thanks for being honest, so I will be too. Me turning this to a B&W was the only way to save it...I can't stand the "auto" exposure and colors on this sad excuse for a camera! (to be honest some more, I dont even know how much of it is the camera, but lets keep that under wraps for now...). :-D
I suppose someone should tell Ansel Adams that B&W doesn't work with nature images. You should let the image tell you whether it wants to be B&W or color. I like the point/counterpoint of hard rock and soft water. B&W helps bring that out. B&W lets you focus on the textures which is what makes this a good picture. It would be just another nature picture in color.
I think this is a lovely image in b&w, the overall image and color does work well together, nice capture of the waterfall, I do like the limb also within the picture. Great work from you.
