WOW Naddia, this is really a moving photo. It's very simple but tells a big story. What an excellent capture with wonderful lighting and color. Thanks for sharing this.
All the wonders you seek are within yourself. Always glad to see visitors at My Gallery and thanks for your continued kind words and constant support. Anita
This photo is not only well done, it's excellent in all the technical elements. On top of it, it has great "character" and that's the mark of a good photo! - Patty
Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel.

Very full of expression. I love that stone wall. I'm glad you have your Grandpa around to talk to and things. I'm the Grandpa now and most of my family from Dad and Mom's bunch are gone now. I still got my sisters and brothers their kids and mine for a while. I love your picture Naddia.
This is the second day I have had this up and looked at it time and again. I even thought about it today once in a while. It's an image that doesn't want to leave my mind, and yet everyone else has covered about all the technical strengths of this take. There's something so touching about so simple a scene as this..perhaps it is the clothing, or his concentration on his lunch of which .. looks like it consists of fruit...of course all the fantastic rocks behind him, and they are huge, tend to dwarf him and it looks like the rock he is sitting on is just above some erosion in the original work done on the ground. It is a haunting post, and I enjoy it very much. If it were mine, I would take out the tan colored box to the right and leave the little bit of green there, but then you'd have to send it to a big magazine company to publish..it's that good...thanks :)PJ
